New DOMAIN for me -----------> ded1.NET
Nothing much today besides doing support task and going out bought some IDE cable and adapter socket and went to some IT Solution company at Pandan Indah (somewhere nearby Menara MPAJ) and did register for my new domain (ded1.NET). This domain will be a permanent official domain that i'll be using for www, email, FTP, NS and everything. I paid to 'em about RM 55 for those TLD (top level domain) which is the price only for domain name (without DNS, web/email space or any shitty things!). Luckily i got my own DNS and www and also email server so it's not a big problem aight. I just finish setting up the forwarding zone for those domain and reload the named daemon without any lame queries, good ! Then i have to wait for about 24 - 96 hours before the domain delegate fully to internet worldwide. I've been using couple of domain for the past 6 years ! most of 'em wasn't last longer because of some reason, hehe. I listed here some domain that i've been own and used before; ded1.org, ded1.net, ded1.com, ded1-bosan.com, ahmadfaisal.com, tandas.org, ahmadfaisal.net, skywizard.com, norhana.com and a lot of subdomain which is i bind from some .com/.edu/.org/.my.
All of those domain no longer mine because i haven't renew the payment, some being hold and suspend by the domain reseller/registrar for couple years. Nowadays TLD being cheaper compare to 5/6 years ago, at that time own a domain was like having a luxurious car or somethin' precious. Today you can get 1 TLD with just RM 30/= to RM 50/=. with cash some other trusted payment method. No need fraud carding or something illegal eh :-) Having a domain since 5/6 years ago actually teach me how to own a DNS server where i learn how to configure the daemon (bind named) including setting up master/primary/cache/slave/secondary/internal DNS server. The best part in DNS that i learn is how to do reverse domain with reverseable IP where most people/admin today still haven't realize of its profit. I did a lot of things on getting bind to PTR, A, NS, CNAME, MX record. I still remember one night (5 years ago) where this 1 Canadian guy, i thought his name was Adam or something (he's still in undernet and we're still contact) that i knew through IRC on undernet network teach me step by step details of how to setting up DNS server from scratch. It was really great and really big thanks to him and to anyone that teach me how to do it properly. Just left me alone in the office now, i gotta log off and deal with real life creatures. Ciao !

Happy New Year 2004 !
This is the first day of year 2004, happy new year to everyone with or without any resolutions, it doesn't make much sense aight ? I haven't go out to anywhere last night to celebrate the new year due to past experience tiring deal and rush with insane crowd out there. I just stay at home watching dusty TV with some dull programme aired, it's so so cool even it's typically bored indeed, no regret ! Ikmal called me last night for supper (?) but due to sleepy and tired waiting i ended up sleeping without pick his call or read the SMS, sorry dude.
Spend almost a half day till 6 p.m. setting up PC and recabling network thing at Rawang's branch, exhausted but nice travel to non noisy place. I love Rawang environment because it's so peacefully and it's great indeed. My mom call me last night to inform that my younger sister got a job at some government agency as some officer assistant and being postponed to Seremban and hefta attend on 12th January there. Good to her and congratulations ! My mom seems happy to see all her sons well adapt and grew up well. My dad wasn't at home as he's going to some Felda's organize seminar in Perlis. Today is an off day for me and some folks so i decided to go out for jogging at Taman Tasik Titiwangsa (my routine on free time). I dunno when i will start playing my remote car back because Hasrul was no longer staying with me and he's like a mechanic to me for engine maintenance and tuning. So i just put the car in tool box and not even touch the thing lately. Normally i'm with other friends but not for today, Ahhh.... nairmind, get motivate dude ! Hope not much people juggle around the narrow stone path. I gotta go out now, see ya in the near future.
