New PC on Bright Saturday morning glam story
I bought a new PC for my own last week, it's been so long i've been using my old ancient PC which is called "Hooligans", nearly 6 years with Cyrix IBM 233Mhz, ATI Rage vga, 86 MB (siemens) sdram and 3.2 GB (quantum fireball) hard drive, Creative AWE 64 sound card and socket 7 TX PRO motherboard.
I went to Low Yatt Plaza (one of KL famous computer spots) with Zam, after surveying for couple hours for the best part with the best money that i had so i grab this hardware for my new machine; Intel Celeron 1.8Ghz, 256MB 333mhz DDR RAM (Kingston), Geforce4 mx440 64mb vga, Asus p4v8x-x motherboard, optical infra-red mouse, Creative inspire 2.1 2500 speaker&subwoofer, LG 52x CDrom, 80 GB seagate "Barracuda" 7200 rpm ultra ATA hard drive, Samsung flat CRT syncmaster 765mb 17" (magic bright) monitor and made-in-china ATX grey casing. Then i added the machine with some old hardware like LG CDR drive, Yamaha soundcard (i might get creative sound blaster soon) and 40 GB hard drive. I might need more plenty of RAM soon and i'm not so obsessed with pentium 4 like other maniacs as well. I install this new machine named as "Bismarx" with windows 98 1st edition complete with other heavy graphic application (adobe, 3d max... yadda...yadaaa), patch the windows, update the norton antivirus definition files to the latest, update to directx 9.0. My old machine might be change to freebsd or openbsd soon. I gotta go to Rawang's branch today, they got problem with their network onnection, gotta fix eh. ciao.
