Burung Balam - the poem / 'gurindam'

It's been quite some time i've been looking for this gurindam. I manage to found it today right after i arrive home from work. Kinda hectic, need some nature touch & classic stuff which may swipe away tiredness and burnout. I still remember part of the phrase like burung balam or zebra dove / spotted dove. In the good old days and till today, malay people love to keep these songs bird. They put in the nice carving cage and hang it outside the house or inside. Another phrase is "orang tua berkalih tidur" which means the old men was sleeping but turn around few times like they're in the state of REM sleep.
Alamat Hari Nak Siang
===============
Tengah malam sudah terlampau
Dinihari belum lagi tampak
Budak-budak dua kali jaga,
Orang tua berkalih tidur,
Berbunyi kuang jauh ke tengah,
Sering lanting riang di rimba,
Melenguh lembu di padang,
Sambut menguak kerbau di kandang,
Berkokok mandung, merak mengigal,
Fajar sadik menyinsing naik,
Kicau-kicau bunyi murai,
Taptibau melambung tinggi,
Menguku balam di hujung bendul,
Terdengar puyuh panjang berbunyi,
Puntung sejengkal tinggal sejari,
Itulah alamat hari nak siang....

Malaysia new proton car model
It's called Proton Saga BLM or somethin', i adore the design & look duh. Despite a zillion of critisizes/complaints/bad labelling/under estimation and lotsa negative feedback against Proton product and their half-ass bad management & bad R & D, These newly motivate Proton team has start walking through flat tarmac following others automobile giant. Yeahhh, i knew we gotta support local product and at the same time customer should give feedback (either negative/positive) to the manufacturer and the Proton itself _MUST_ improve to compete the global capitalist market around the globe. See it for yourself:

Feelin' good eh...
I'm in the office but not really doing work-related, i meant not really *heh*. Due to the upcoming long holiday Aidilfitri festive next week. It's been quite sometime i've been looking for this kinda pen, i adore 'em since my school days. Still remember one of my teacher (around year 1992) was using it with stripe and white color. The pen built and look is really cool and nice shape. I thought it was Zebra but it's LAMY duh ! But that model is no longer in the market (obsolete!). I came across to LAMY website past few days and just realize that's the pen i'm looking for the past 10 years. After 10 years or so then i can afford to buy these pen eh ? I bought it at Parkson KLCC during lunch break yesterday. Man.... the feel of writing when you hold it is soooo speechless !!! AWESOME !! i bought the LAMY ink and free 1 piece of LAMY cartridge.

I even grab some nicely built CITIZEN divers watch. Water resistance is up to 200 Meter. I love the rubber black strap, u can feel the strap is nice and cooler if you compare with imitation watch or cheapo stuff. I grab it at some watch outlet at Central Market, KL.

So long i wanted to get these wireless remote shutter for my Nikon D70s, i sometimes face a situation where you can't use a timer nor look through viewfinder in someway. So i grab it at one outlet in Bukit Bintang Plaza, KL.

No where to go so i went to Times Square shopping complex and grab some Stussy multi crown leather belt. Looks so masculine eh.

I came across to these web, they wrote article on street wear and jeans, it's nice duh !

Return back to the street wear and shopaholic!!!
Utterly i was suddenly make up my feeble mind to phase out all the cloth in my wardrobe. There's tons of variegated outdate cloth i have to throw out and donate to my nephew and my brother for goodness sake. It was loathe to own 'em. It's been few years i've never buy a new cloth. I wore faded and old cloth for daily work and hang out. I was devoted to somethin' else for the past few years, it makes my mind farrago these day. It's time for a CHANGE !! I grab what i've been dump before, i start back buying music magazine like KERRANG! and Rolling Stone. It was cheap indeed compare to the last few years, this is cool *sigh*.

I've been introduced by my buddy to a Japanese fashion magazine named BOON, y'know Japanese are fashion freak these days.

So i pack my backpack, grab my Red Loop Levi's, slip on my Vans Old Skool and My freak T's and all alone walk around KL and here what i grab.

I'm a fan of Stussy, Zoo York, Billabong, Dickies, Ben Davis, Ben Sherman, Fred Perry, Converse, Vans, Bathing Ape, Fuct and a lot of street wear clothing. Who toldcha there's no more 'Made in USA' stuff these days ??? Yeahhh, most American company move their manufacturing to cheap labour country like China, Indonesia, Thailand, Mexico and not forgotten Malaysia.

I'm still looking for a cool US made brand coz third world manufactured can't comply like what being produced in the USA. Their quality kinda slight behind the origin country DUH ! Some more an imitation product is widely sold here, it's pretty sad since the local authority wasn't enforce and raid their outlet, nairmind i'll do my part to choose the original stuff only. Go dump in hell ya' imitation cheap stuff !

...Banking controversial, Camping, Malaysia internet havoc
Phewww.... it was a hectic period before closing year 2006, really a *BIG* challenge & obstacle to me. There's a network attack a.k.a. Denial of Service between "some big Bank in Malaysia" and my network for a few weeks. Their fucking idiot misconfiguration device all over Malaysia (nearly 2000 unit) sending thousand of email alert to our mail server every second for 24 hours. That is really insane so i email report few times to some "authority" and relevant parties and the email turn controversial afterwards till their President felt annoy and they start concern about it so they yell at us since "authority" keep pushing 'em. So they ask me to come to their headquarters building and i have to meet face to face with their Vice President. Damn !! i felt like gigle and wanna faint and sleepless for a few days before the meet. Fucking terrible beyond my expectation those email/words could lead to this level of judgement since my justification haven't go that far to diagnose the implication. We're having some discussion before both parties agreed to fix own problem. Till now the DOS still at it but it was reduce greatly and i'm tweaking our MTA to handle such excessive incoming TCP traffic. I'm thinking to divert the traffic to another newly setup mail server. Thanks God, FreeBSD on Dell Poweredge is rock solid to handle the TCP stack !!!
I'm off on 24/12/2006 to Lentang reserve forest (Pahang) as planned before for stress relieve and having fun with mother nature. Dude, camping is the coolest thang you should do. Aww... greatly irresistable to the outdoor type like me. Below is the photo taken during the trip. Log on to my gallery for the rest - http://apam-balik.ded1.net

27th December 2006 is the nightmare for entire human being in South East Asia include me, the 7.1 magnitude richter earthquake only killed several people and collapsed building mostly in Taiwan but left million of people in SEA country in "virtual blackout/outage" till now. Internet and phone all over Asia were disrupte after earthquakes near Taiwan damaged undersea/submarine cables. That sound sooo eery and seriously effected the "borderless" global community ya' know. The earthquake damaged APCN2 (Asia Pacific Cable Network 2) cable and Sea-Me-We3 cable and cost them an *unknown* figure of money to restore the undersea cable back to normal. It's 3km undersea cable living in vacuum trunking alone under dark/cold sea. Who wanna dive there and replace some shit for global community ?? According to Media and friend of mine who work for TM, it may take 3 weeks for the cable operator fixing the stuff. For sure most dot com entity badly effected and turn their network operator out of sanity. Below is the TM network and where/how APCN2 network goes. I wish everyone a happy new year 2007, may the force be with ya' !! and Salam Aidiladha to the Muslims on the planet earth. Ciao !!
